Lewisham Live Festival will be back in 2021. The events below were planned for our 2020 festival. Unfortunately only the first four managed to take place.

Bellingham Beats - Dancing Stories
17, 19 & 21st February - 10am & 11am
Bellingham Childrens Centre, SE6 3HB
Get ready to explore and play this half term, with dancing story sessions for 3-5 year olds and their grown-ups. Little ones will jump, skip, hop and roll into their favourite stories and build fun new worlds to explore.

Live Dance
3 & 4 March - 7pm
Broadway Theatre Catford, SE6 4RU
Festival favourite, Live Dance returns to celebrate the talents of young people in Lewisham’s primary and secondary schools. The event is part of U.Dance – a nationwide programme championing great dance.

Lifestyle: Alchemy Music Showcase
21 March - 3pm
RHB 167, Music Dept,Goldsmiths University
Goldsmiths Alchemy present their second annual showcase of some of the best new live music rising from South London. Goldsmiths Alchemy is a professional weekend creative music lab for local 14-18 year olds.

Live Singalong

A singing event suitable for Reception aged children & their teachers and helpers led by Clare Caddick, Lewisham Music’s Singing Leader.

Love 2 Dance: The Legendary
29 March - 2pm & 6pm

Local young people from Love2Dance bring you a brand new hip-hop dance theatre show. THE LEGENDARY is a breath-taking combination of physical theatre and original beats, twisted into a story about overcoming the odds.

Fellowship Music Collective
Workshops - 14, 15, 16 April
The Fellowship and Star, 10 Randlesdown Rd, Bellingham, SE6 3BT
Debut project of a new cross-genre creative musical collective led by DJ, producer and rapper INTALEKT and jazz and soul pianist Arthur Lea. Suitable for 13-18 year old instrumentalists, producers, singers and rappers of all styles and abilities.

Bellingham Beats - Dance & Dive

Join us for a fun creative dance class open to all 11-14 year olds, exploring the movements of 'Parkour' through dance. Leap, roll, dive and balance; whilst setting yourselves creative challenges along the way

Live at the Halls is an eclectic evening hosted showcasing a diverse range of genres and musical combinations.

Lewisham Live at Trinity Laban

Enjoy an evening of collaborative music & dance performances, the results of intensive projects with 4 Lewisham schools, alongside a newly created performance from Junior Trinity and the Centre for Advanced Training.

The Midi Music Showcase

Live Unplugged
